Excessive Speeding

Speed kills, but it also thrills. Many years ago, when I was in one of those immortal phases we all go through, I raced motorcycles a little. Not much and not well, but enough to begin to appreciate speed. In racing, faster is always better until it becomes too fast. Too fast is very bad.

The Bliss of International Travel

OK, that title is an oxymoron, but I thought that it had an element of dark humor. International travel is fraught with potholes, pitfalls and the possibility of massive inconvenience. Let me share a few examples of "Disasters I Have Known." Feel free to add your own below.
