The halcyon days of tracking down good shooting.

"Every sportsman knows by experience that decent hotel accommodations are seldom to be found where good shooting is to be had. A place where game is plenty and a hotel good is the very rare exception.... "Equipped as the Jerome Marble party are, they escape the discomforts that attend the ordinary sportsman, and enjoy themselves to the fullest extent. When they reach a place at which they wish to remain, the car is switched off on a sidetrack; and when they are ready to leave, it is attached to the first train passing and taken to their next stopping place.
