Gun Review
The Kimber Marias
By Bruce Buck
It's gorgeous. It's exotic. It's a relative bargain. But will that be enough? I'm speaking of the new Kimber Marias sidelock over/under. Following close on the heels of Kimber's Valier sidelock side-by-side (Gun Review, Sept/Oct '05), the Marias also relies on modern machinery combined with a non-Euro pay scale to recreate a classic game gun. The Marias is made in the same Hatfield plant in the town of Huglu, Turkey, that produces the Valier. It is a continuation of Kimber's effort to provide Anglo-classic game guns with all the bells and whistles at very competitive prices.
