The Best Finish Last
New 'best' guns from English finisher/gunmaker D.H. Sinnerton
By Vic Venters
Visit the Safari Club International Convention or any major international sporting-arms exposition, and it quickly becomes apparent that these days there are many gunmakers building very fine double shotguns to very high standards. In general, innovation and quality in the double-gun market haven't been this high for more than a half-century and arguably since before the First World War. A confluence of new technology and Old World craftsmanship-leavened with a heaping measure of prosperity in the West-has made the late 20th and early 21st centuries a new Golden Age for fine gunmaking.
