Gun Review
Kimber Valier
The first thing you'll notice about the Kimber Valier (pronounced "Va-leer") side-by-side is that it doesn't look Turkish. There are no odd double-headed birds, no Byzantine engraving patterns, no gilded sideplates, no strange carvings or shapes. It looks English. In fact, it looks suspiciously like someone copied a Holland & Holland sidelock. Pretty darn well, too. The realities of an inflated Euro have driven many gun companies to explore countries with gunmaking traditions yet low labor costs.
