At the risk of further abusing the most quoted directive in the Woodcock's Man-ual on Safe Migration, we all know that "the early bird gets the worm." Every self-respecting, well-read or well-traveled woodcock knows this to be true. Likewise, any well-experienced woodcock hunter or guide knows that the early hunter gets the bird. Therefore, being nestled on the shore of West Grand Lake in Eastern Maine means having the best opportunity to intercept this most evasive game. And that is exactly where Leen's Lodge is located.
