Watson Bros. has perfected a 12 that handles like a 20

A century ago Watson Bros. carved out a niche in a crowded and competitive marketplace by specializing in smallbore doubles during an era when the 12-bore reigned supreme. Today smallbores are all the rage in Britain, but Watson Bros. now is creating another niche-this time by building sleek and slender 12s that handle like 20s. The crown jewel of the current Watson lineup is a bespoke 12- bore sidelock over/ under that tips the scales at only 6 pounds 8 ounces-nearly a pound lighter than many other similarly configured sidelocks.
