Reviewing the top-shelf electronic systems

There is not a more effective way to teach a hunting dog than to incorporate electronic collars into the training program. Period. Today's remote electronic systems have revolutionized training methods and enabled both seasoned professionals and less-experienced trainers to develop dogs to a much higher standard. This past season I field-tested e-collars from D.T. Systems, Innotek, SportDOG and Tri-Tronics. The units I ran through the paces were the élite, top-of-the-line systems offered by each manufacturer.
