Honest advice on vetting a dog trainer

There are certain people every sportsman should have in his corner. At the top of the list, for reasons that should be obvious, is an understanding spouse-or at least a forgiving one. A good gunsmith is pretty darn important, too. (I'm blessed to have a couple of them-one I turn to for routine maintenance and repairs, the other for stockwork and the more complicated stuff. I'd tell you their names, but then I'd have to kill you.) An attorney, an accountant and a urologist are other "musts," assuming all of the aforementioned are a) competent, b) discreet and c) not currently under investigation.
