Field Gear

This & That

As I write this, the bird season is winding down and the holidays are upon us. I'm looking forward to attending the 2005 SHOT Show, where I hope to find a slew of new products to cover in future columns. For me, it's the ideal time to review neat stuff I uncovered during the year but did not have a chance to test until my fall hunts. Following are some products that stood out. You wouldn't want to wear what the maker calls "the Range Rover of shirts" into the barberry thickets. Why would anyone needlessly shred a garment that costs more than a hundred bucks? On the other hand, if you're afraid of tripping the "orange alarm" at that upscale restaurant you walk into straight from the field, have no fear.
