Vegas Jackpot: New Products

Good news: Recent figures from the National Sporting Goods Assoc. point to hunting-related gear as the fastest-growing segment of all types of sporting goods. The 8-percent increase in direct sales (to more than $2.8 billion) is more rapid than that experienced in fishing, golf, tennis and baseball, according to the National Shooting Sports Foundation. That increase was certainly in evidence this past February in Las Vegas at NSSF's annual SHOT Show. I was there scouring the miles of aisles for new and useful products to make our hunts more comfortable, productive and fun.
