I just love Las Vegas. Where else can you stay in a modern yet soon-to-be-demolished hotel with a Krispy Kreme dispensary right in the lobby? The town's haute cuisine steam-table buffets take me back to the gustatory prowess of my high school cafeteria. There isn't a clock in town, and it really doesn't matter. It's the perfect place for a trade show. The SHOT (Shooting, Hunting Outdoor Trade) Show is, simply put, the largest sporting-goods store in the world. There are more than 550,000 square feet of guns, ammunition, hunting apparel, optics, camping and related products.
