British Makers Form Trust to Support the Trade

A charity dedicated to raising funds to ensure the continuance of the British gun trade has been launched in London by the Worshipful Company of Gunmakers. The charitable trust will help those engaged in the craft of gunmaking combine traditional skills with new technologies and encourage new recruits into the industry to maintain Britain's position as a center of gunmaking excellence. The trustees of the charity are Roger Mitchell and Russell Wilkin of Holland & Holland, G. Archer, John Browning (yes, that Browning), auctioneer Nicholas Holt, Diana Keith Neal, gunsmith Chris Price, and Richard Purdey of James Purdey & Sons.
