Shooting
On the Flip-Flop
By Michael McIntosh
Shooting, as we all understand, is an exercise of eye-hand coordination. We lock onto a target with our eyes, and then move our hands (and the gun of course) along its flight line to the place where the target will be when the shot swarm gets there. It's a wonderfully simple, completely natural gift that is invariably accurate when wrapped in a sound technique and not disrupted by too much mental gyration. You can't think a target to death, although you certainly can think yourself into a miss quite easily.
