Gun Review
Remington 105 CTi
By Bruce Buck
The embossed silver metal grip cap proudly proclaims "Remington-100 years of autoloading shotguns 1905-2005." Founder Eliphalet and his son, Philo, would be proud of the company. It has been almost two centuries of occasional kitchen appliances, typewriters, bicycles and lots of guns. Not the least of the achievements was Remington's popularization of the ubiquitous gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun.
Remington's venture into the semi-auto arena did not start auspiciously. Just after the dawn of the 20th Century, gun-designing genius John Moses Browning approached Winchester with a revolutionary design for an autoloading shotgun.
